Its great to watch the old videos and look at the images of canny auld Sunderland.
I love this documentary.

I saw James Bolam on an old programme the other night.
I can't remember what they called it but he is a good actor and Sunderland should honour him if they haven't already.

A rescue attempt on the Roker Pier and Lighthouse. Some fishermen who do not heed the weather warnings can become trapped at the lighthouse side after being cut off by the high tides. There is a service tunnel that runs the whole length but maybe on this occasion a helicopter was more appropriate. I...

Well done to the Sunderland Ladies then.
I have never seen them play, but even so when you consider they are playing way down in Hetton, they are getting decent crowds.
