Sunderland v Barnsley Game - 01/01/2018

This is our SAFC Forum of course. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

We let them get a goal so we have to score at least two to win this one :argument:

Judging by the way things are going, we aint gonna do that. Shame as well as there are over 28,000 there today.
I might have the day off today!

I think we are going to have to play some ugly football if we are going to get something out of this game. With 20 minutes to go and Barnsley wasting time, Sunderland are going to have to come up with something special.
What was that you said again?

Six minutes of added time, enough to get an equaliser?

It'll take a lot of money to stay up.... Absolute soul destroying that result... First win in 11 games for Barnsley... As bad as it gets....

That's it we got beat and badly.
Ruiter went up for a corner 6 and a half minutes into injury time but it wasn't to be.

Chin up, the combination we have now isn't good enough but there is the bargain basement. The only problem is that January prices are generally higher. Let's see how the Coleman network connection works first ;)

If anyone is still listening to the radio, Gary Bennett is having a right old ding-dong argument with the radio presenter who says its the fault of the Stadium of Light
Gary Bennet is saying its the players fault and rightly so.
In a bit
