January 2018 Deadline Day Movers For Sunderland
According to this article, Sunderland signed three loan players on deadline day:
Striker, Ashley Fletcher on loan from Middlesbrough.
Goalkeeper, Lee Camp on loan from Cardiff City.
Midfielder, Ovie Ejaria on loan from Liverpool.
Out goes Didier Ndong on loan to Watford.
Jason Steele was due to go on loan to Derby County but this deal fell through with Derby changing the terms of the deal late on.
Connor Shields has also came in from Albion Rovers on an 18 month contract but he is not a first team addition. He will go into the under 23 development team. One for the future then.
That's about it guys 'n' gals, a handful of loanees to save us from the drop.
But will it be enough?
The 33 year old goalkeeper should go straight in goal due to his vast experience.
Let's see how things shape up this Saturday at home to Ipswich Town.

How many loan players have we got now
Seriously though, in August last year we spent about £1m and in January we spent nothing.
Should Chris Coleman pull this off and save us from the drop he deserves a medal.
Ellis Short tried his best when he had an interest in the club but since he seems to have lost that interest it shows now in the transfer market.
I think we have enough to avoid the drop but what then?
More than likely the club will be sold in the summer.
I wont even make a comment should we go down because I dread the thought.

Calm down.
We are Sunderland!
We are Sunderland!
What was that you said again?

I'm sorry to say relegation looms and the next step is administration. Ellis short has lost interest. We are too inexperienced in important positions. Doesn't worry me now, the deed has been done.
