I am going to say that the speed humps in Thorney Close are the worst.
How this council has got away with doing this I don't know.
People should start to put claims into them.

Re: Worst Speed Bumps In Sunderland
I will go along with this, what makes it worse is the hilly bits.
What was that you said again?

I agree, when you approach these speed bumps downhill you have to go a lot slower than on the flat.thingamajig wrote: ↑26 Dec 2017, 05:10I will go along with this, what makes it worse is the hilly bits.
Re: Worst Speed Bumps In Sunderland
I will vote for the Thorney Close road system in full.
First off there is the speed bumps which are everywhere and terrible.
Then the priority changes which happened over 10 years ago are worse.
If anyone doesn't know what I am talking about, visit the place!

I agree, locals might be used to the place but visitors are not.
I would imagine there's been a few near misses over the years, especially in the dark.

Re: Worst Speed Bumps In Sunderland
I forgot to add the speed humps in Millfield.
There are non between Hylton Road and Chester Road.
But there are loads on the other side.
If you travel up Hylton road from the town the ones I am on about are in the side streets on the right.
I forgot about these ones and are not nice to drive over, I done it today
