New Drug On Wearside Streets Are Extremely Dangerous
A new drug which may have found its way onto the streets of Sunderland and the surrounding areas has been found to be potentially fatal if taken.
The tablets seem to be bright blue with a "X" marked on them and the size of a paracetamol. Many of these were recently found in a house in Newcastle and nine people were arrested.
People could take these tablets mistaking them for ecstasy claims the regions police. They have been found to contain a chemical called PMA.
Gemma Hurst from Walker in Newcastle has already died after taking the drug at a party.
Anyone who thinks they may have taken these pills should go to the hospital for emergency medical tests. Likewise if anyone sees these or any other drug misuse - report it to the police!

*The Sunderland Forum is against drug use of any sort. We agree that people have choices in life but drugs are the invention of evil people who care nothing about human life - especially the younger generations who may think its "cool". It is never "cool" to damage a young persons life chances and taking drugs of any sort does hust that!

While I agree with certain things I say its mostly down to a lack of education.
..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!

Arghhhhh this is what we don't need. Anyone with kids will be even more worried especially since this one seems to be a killer.

New drugs on Wearside ... nah! This is a Tyneside or Teesside problem. I know a lot of people and not one would know where to start if they wanted to look for drugs. In my honest opinion I think Wearside is behind the other two rivers on this front from what I have read online!

We get a threat like this every year I gave up when they said that crystal meth would kill every drug user off. Not one person in Sunderland is affected a decade on. Well not that I've heard.

The police are doing a good job keeping drugs out of Sunderland. They also seem to catch loads who grow cannabis. Last year there was loads of reports about this. Well done to the police on that score.

All drugs are dangerous but some are more dangerous than others.
This new drug is a killer by the sound of it.
Do you know what your kids are doing tonight?

I am not perfect by any means but those smack heads who do drugs need putting down. Introduce drugs to my kids and I would do more than smack their heads
