Pictures of Queen Alexandra Bridge
Just thought I would start a thread with showing images of the Queen Alexandra Bridge since there isn't already one here.
I used to walk over this bridge a low when I was younger.
Nowadays I drive over it as regular as clockwork.
Enjoy:
The Queen Alexandra bridge was built with a railway line on top.
Here's how it could have looked a few years ago when in use.
Here's the top of the bridge and you can clearly see where the railway tracks were.

Here is a picture of the Queen Alexandra Bridge - this looks like the south side where a few of the arches are being demolished to make way for the roundabout.
Anyone who has walked over the QAB may have seen the large pipes over one side.
I think they are possibly gas pipes. Here's what they look like.
