The British, Americans and other allies have almost withdrawn from Afghanistan with mainly just Kabul waiting to fall to the Taliban.
The women we leave behind are now third-rate citizens and their freedoms are gone.

The Taliban will be murdering anyone who they suspect of siding with the west for the last 20 years.
There will be bloodshed and we have let this country slip back into medieval times.
In my opinion, we have betrayed the people there.

All we will hear from that part of the world now is misery.

Because we are too nice to do what is neccersary. This planet has no room for those that wish to impose their ideaology on others, which in itself should tell the oppressors that they have slaved people, but hearts and minds remain intact...not exactly victory.

But nobody can sort that place out, the Russians were in before.
I must admit though that we know what is going to happen to the people we leave there and it's not going to be nice.

Usually, it's about money but I am struggling to think about how they can generate money from withdrawing and allowing terror to reign

Reading, believing and emulating stuff out of books written by mere mortals was always going to end in disaster.
