Looking back at this game, yes it was a free hit but we gave them passage to the fourth round. No way will the scum go on to win the cup on their performance here.
Sunderland are not the finished product by any means and Newcastle were favourites, but the scum WILL get knocked out in the next round.

I might have the day off today!

Our last eight games against Newcastle: Won six, drew one, lost one.
Not bad at all.

It was a free hit, man! Geting knocked out of the cup is nowt, even though it was them who done it. Let them have their glory for now.

I've spoke to many Sunderland fans recently about this game and not many are unduly upset. It would have been good to see us win the old enemy but our respective positions tell no lies. Nobody is really bothered.

That result never hurt one bit.
We still have won them 6 times more than them in the last 8 games.

The scum love to come out of the woodwork when they have a good result but come the bad times they go into their shell.
Gloat away you scum!

I see nothing to suggest that Sunderland supporters feel bad about this result. I see the mags are on a high though.

Not a lot on the internet either just Maggies bragging while we are just taking it on the chin and wondering why when the gulf between us is massive.

There's a bit like, but not from the more mature supporters.
