Sunderland vs Bristol City - April 2024

The Stadium of Light is looking good and the supporters are all jolly.
Last Monday's defeat is in the back of their minds, but we are all happy.
Hopefully, the lads can take all three points and perform better than we did on Monday.

Team news
Black Cats vs The Robins:

Sunderland AFC starting XI: Patterson, Hume, O’Nien, Ballard, Hjelde, Neil, Ekwah, Rigg, Aouchiche, Clarke, Bellingham.
SAFC Substitutes: Bishop, Pembele, Alese, Mundle, Styles, Dack, Roberts Burstow, Hemir.

Come 5 pm today I expect us to have won 2-0.

It's a nice day today so SoL must look top-notch.
I'm going for a slight win to the young lads of Sunderland.

I'm at the game, it has been ok so far considering our recent history.
I hope they don't go for the jugular and a sucker punch.
Half-time - 0-0.

It's windy, man. The stadium will be full of litter and it will be blowing about.

I might have the day off today!

To sum this up so far. We had many more attacks on goal but struggled to score. You always get the feeling that they could score if they prey on our weakness at the back but their attacks are few and far between. We should have won this easily.

You got your wish come true.
We should have had at least one goal but with no goalscorers what can we do?
Hopefully, next season it works for us.
Final score: Sunderland 0-0 Bristol City.
