The 2022/23 Season Is Over For Sunderland

Post by Nockya »

Last night's 2-0 defeat (3-2 on aggregate) at Luton meant the first season for SAFC in the Championship after a few years in Division One is over.
It's been a long season, mostly good, but sometimes a little inconsistent.
That said, we survived and actually had a good chance to get back to the Premier League.

Next season, we will need the usual investment and good luck in the transfer market.
If this season has not proved anything to the owners of Sunderland AFC, I don't know what will.

I've yet to meet anyone with a negative view of our season so far.

Broke a few hearts like. To think that a club such as Luton (where the heck is that place) can get in the top flight is beyond me. The jokers won us but we will see our day.

Need to keep Patterson and Clarke. Let's see how ambitious the club want to be

Last night I saw a few tears. But **it happens. Get the money in the club because we were only firing on three cylinders. If not it WILL be mid-table.

Although I don't feel let down, I did feel a little deflated I must admit.
