Well, here we go, here we go, here we go.
The first time back in the Championship for about 10 years.
Lets hope we can make our mark from the off.
Don't forget it's no big deal to lose a few in this division.
The pitch has been made smaller for reasons only known to the manager
Obviously, this is the big opening fixture for the Championship and as such is live on Sky TV.
English Championship - Stadium of Light - Referee: Oliver Langford.

Re: Sunderland v Derby County - 04/08/17
Hello again
The lads are a bit too cautious but I think we will get to grips with this game and win it.
Half time whistle just gone and its still 1-1.
The crowd are appreciative, and that matters.
Worth mentioning that Bradley Lowery was remembered here with a minute applause.
RIP

Looks like the boo boys have stayed away.
The atmosphere is electric in comparison to full houses in the Premier League.
Enjoying this one but I think the lads are knackered now.

I might have the day off today!

Final score Sunderland 1-1 Derby County.
Just heard all the game on the radio and the commentators are saying they would have accepted a point at the start of the game.
Not me, I want three in every game!
